In class training with no more than 15 business professionals. The course follows Quickbooks Pro Advisor Programme, covering the following topics:
Day 1
· speeding up your invoicing, including sending invoices from anywhere
· linking with 3rdparty applications so you can accept payments online
· customising invoice templates
· keeping track of payments received
· managing the accounts receivable process to minimize the number of days you await to get paid.
· creating and comparing bills and expenses
· making expenses billable to customer, and applying mark up on expense when issuing customer with an invoice
· paying bills
· connecting current accounts, credit card accounts and PayPal to the system to see transactions in real time
· navigating of banking section and application of rules to common transactions for automation purposes
· processing transactions – matching and adding options
· bank reconciliation
· uploading bank CSV file in case live connection cannot be established (foreign/unsupported bank)
Day 2
· looking into chart of accounts, including the use of sub accounts
· using journals for accruals and prepayments
· void and delete options
· VAT overview – VAT settings and management
· VAT preparation – reports and VAT error-checker
· Enabling MTD option – standard filing
· MTD – bridging solution – when you don’t have all the relevant data in QB Online yet but you need to make MTD submissions now
· VAT control and VAT suspense accounts

Over 30 exercises will follow the theory to help you practice what you've learnt. Tea/Coffee break with sandwiches/biscuits to keep everyone refreshed and focused half way through the training. A QB cheat sheet and a short Power Point Presentation on what has been covered will be provided at the end of the course to take home. Own laptop with a charging cable is required.
